Which Was The Best Decade For Music?

Just a question: which generation rocked the best? Did you fall in love of with the big band "daddy-o"s in 40's? Who could forget the birth of rock and roll from the 1950's? Was it the disco swingers of the 60's? Was it the mod hippies of 1970s? Pop rockers of the 80's? What about the grunge lesion of the 1990's? Or is the best music generation our decade?

	1940's A decade of big band music and beautiful, simple classics. Some huge additions to music during this time period are Glenn Miller, Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra.
	1950's A decade of the first rock and roll the death of swing music. Bill Haley, Elvis and Perry Como are amazingly exploited during this generation.
	1960's A decade of disco and rock's adolescence. Music from this time include works from The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Grateful Dead, The Beach Boys. And who could forget Woodstock!?
	1970's A decade of acid-tripping, mind-blowing pure rock and punk love. The Bee-Gees, Jimi Hendrix, The Sex Pistols, The Ramones; they all exploded (in the best way) during these times.
	1980's A decade of keytars, big hair, synth-pop and new wave. Great artists from this period would happen to be Duran Duran, The Police, Van Halen, Michael Jackson and Madonna. And the Buggles for making the very first music video for the song "Video Killed The Radio Star".
	1990's A decade of rap, techno and a little bit of queasy grunge. Nirvana, The Smashing Pumpkins, Sir Mix-A-Lot and Cher can be blamed for 90's nostalgia. (P.S. I miss Kurt Cobain!!!)
	2000's Our decade can only be summed up to be a whole mess of alternative business. We've got Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, Paramore, Lily Allen and whole load of others. =]
