These Jersey Boys Know Just How To Rock - A Review Of Jet Lag Gemini's Full-Length Album, Fire The Cannons

This review here is a dedication to my dear friend, Kendra (TheSceneAvenger).  I love you for being so musically inclined and positive; you are a trendy delight!

Fire The Cannons - Jet Lag Gemini

1. "Run This City"

Guitar gods from the past 40 years would definitely be proud of the beautiful riffs squealed in this track. The album kicks off with this catchy, punk-over-pop single that excites and energizes for the songs to come. I highly recommend listening to and check out this piece of genius.

2. "Doctor, Please!"

This witty bit, with a hint of cockiness, impresses as well as encourages human intellect. "Doctor, please! There's something wrong with me. I haven't been this clever in what feels like forever."

3. "The Bad Apples"

Somewhat slow-paced, but enjoyable to listen to. The music quality of this band is superb! This is only their first full-length album, and the music that I am hearing are just delightful!!

4. "Bittersweet"

"Come on, say you've done it, thought we don't have to talk about it. The stains left on the carpet scream loud enough for all to know. Do your legs fail the floor?" The lyrics are tremendously inventive. A thrill to hear.

5. "Stepping Stone"

Here's another slow song your way. It reminds me of a sad version of the latest single by Boys Like Girls entitled "Hero/Heroine," with a more direct vocal intensity.

6. "Fit To Be Tied"

I swear that I died and went to guitar heaven. This song melds superior guitar skills and drumming excellence with lead singer Misha Safanov's vocals to create a hit.

7. "Just Say How"

Mosher’s pit song!! Every album needs one and "Just Say How" proves it’s worth by providing heavy drums with a high-pitched guitar scream that will melt you from head to toe.

8. "If It Was Up To Me"

This song’s lyrics flirt with the boundaries of emo, but never get close enough to be called emo. "I’d be sleeping now if it was up to me, wouldn’t hear a sound if it was up to me. If it was up to me..."

9. "Every Minute"

Ooh!! Another song made for the moshers!! It speeds up time and personifies youth, fast and vibrant. It’ll make you dance, kick, shove and rip your way through any built-up stress you have. My favorite, by far.

10. "Keep This With You"

"When it feels like there’s no hope, and there’s no place left to flow...When you’re thrown to the air on a wing and a prayer you must grab it, and keep it with you. Keep it with you..." Tired, but listen-worthy.

11. "Picture Frames"

While I was expecting an end on a high note, I was relinquished as I heard this mellow mixture of toned-down symphonics and a soft voice. It wasn’t bad at all, it just wasn’t what I expected.

- Album Title: Fire The Cannons
- Artist: Jet Lag Gemini
- Score (1 being horrible, 10 being the best thing your ears have ever heard!): I give this album a 8 out of 10!
- Favorite Song(s): "Every Minute", "Doctor, Please!", "Run This City", "Bittersweet" and "Just Say How"
-What did you like about it: For the most part, the album had a scattered theme, which I found impressive and collected. The sounds of the guitars couldn’t go ignored, and in fact, should probably be adored by the millions.
-What didn't you like about it: The album did have quite a few sad songs, and that is such a turn off for me when I am in the mood for a hardcore, punch-to-the-face sound. I also didn’t like how the guitarists and drummer took over the show, while the bassist was left in the dust. This happens way to much.
- Other Albums you would compare it to: Living Well Is The Best Revenge - Midtown, Boys Like Girls - Boys Like Girls, American Idiot - Green Day

These guys are the next big thing! Do your part, and check them out before anyone else can!!! I promise, you won't be disappointed!

Sounds Like Love, Lies Like It Too - A Buzznet Album Review Of Dragonette's Album, Galore

This review is dedicated to one of our fearless leaders here on Buzznet, BreeSays. Thanks for tuning me in to this band!

Dragonette - Galore

1. "I Get Around"

This song, being both their first single and first track of the album, tell a tale of promiscuity, but you will hardly be able to listen; you will be too busy shaking those hips of yours! Catchy, trendy and a potentially big hit in any club.

2. "Competition"

What better to talk about than a competition between girls?! It manages to slowly work into a dancable beat. Once it hits, you'll be moving around with the sound of synthesizers and a nice drum rythym. Be careful! The lead vocalist Martina Sobara hints that she will steal your man and get off on it.

3. "Take It Like A Man"

"I get a little bit vicious; that's why you love me." The dancing seems to drift away in this track. Vocals really show as notes fluxuate from verse to chorus, low to high. Not a bad song at all.

4. "True Believer"

I couldn't help but think of The Hush Sound as I heard this song. In a way, this song is less poppy and more parlor. There is an interesting piano part, as well as constant tambourine beat, being played from start to finish that attracts the eardrum more than any of the other instruments used.

5. "Another Day"

Maintaining a slow, ballad-y tone, this song proves to be something of a love song. "While you're away, I think of all the things I want to say. I speak into the receiver. I leave my name and number. I say I'll be up late."

6. "Get Lucky"

This is what pop songs are made of. With soft-accented vocals, sounding similar to Regina Spektor and/or Corinne Bailey Rae, this song has a very limited amount of drum sounds. It's soft, simple and gets right to the point! "We both think the weather's getting better. So, let's get lucky! Let's go all the way!" If only this would hit the United States.; MTV and VH1 would kill for this song.

7. "Jesus Doesn't Love Me"

I can hear a combination of Shiny Toy Guns' vocalist Carah Faye Charnow and Gwen Stefani as I listen through this track. Another one of your typical pop tracks, but the lyrics are better than perfect. Jesus may not love Dragonette anymore, but I sure as hell do!

8. "Black Limousine"

Every album needs a track that stands out and is loved by everyone, but should never be a single. In my opinion, this is that song. The cymbals crash every two seconds, but it only makes you want to listen through to the end. Another catchy bit.

9. "Goldrush"

I was hoping to be impressed by this song, but it truly failed capture my attention for long. The beat is a steady slow, and there is no pizzazz standing out. One would think with a song called "Goldrush" that the song would sound as luxurious as an actual gold rush. The ending was a wondeful touch though. The music turns solely to vocals, and ended just like the gold rushes did.

10. "You Please Me"

This song tells the tale of someone that hasn't quite forgotten that one person. Why? Because they pleased! For the climax of the song, we finally get some back-up male vocals in on the action. Piano played a fine part in the making of this song, but the dynamic vocals were the heart and soul behind it. ;-)

11. "Marvellous"

A purely marvelous way for this album to close! The album returns to the begining theme of a dance album, and goes out with a sweet beat. A party song, all the way!

- Album Title: Galore
- Artist: Dragonette
- Score (1 being horrible, 10 being the best thing your ears have ever heard!): I give this a 7 out of 10!
- Favorite Song(s): "True Believer", "Get Lucky", "Jesus Doesn't Love Me" and "Black Limousine"
-What did you like about it: I feel a recognizable reference to life experiences and sexuality, which anyone can easily relate to. Many of the songs on this album are definitely dance-worth, and it's hard to find an album that makes someone want to get up and groove. Vocals were beautiful, and everything was very nicely coordinated.
-What didn't you like about it: Well, I have never been a big fan of the underground pop scene, but I think that there could have been more instrumentals involved within the album.
- Other Albums you would compare it too: The Sweet Escape - Gwen Stefani, Corinne Bailey Rae - Corinne Bailey Rae, Begin To Hope - Regina Spektor, We Are Pilots - Shiny Toy Guns

A Friend Reached Out; Ended In Disaster

So, a friend of mine wanted to hook me up with someone, and we would plan on going on a blind date this Thursday.

I wanted to know who this person was, so I texted them.  "Hey!  My name is John Ortega.  :-)"

Their reply, "hey.  send me a picture of yourself."

This should have been the point where I quit.  I should have known that this person was shallow from that comment.  Here is the picture that I sent them.

Their response, "Ew.  I call off our date.  Ur gross"

This was shattering for my self-esteem.  I'm still pretty heart-broken about it.

So, all of you kiddies out there, stay away from me.

I'm gross.

Practice Your Emotional Skills And Listen To Envy On The Coast's "Lucy Gray" As You Read My Review

This review is dedicated to my dear friend, Jenna (AnAmericanGod). She's always been there for me, and I love her to death. =D

1. "Sugar Skulls"

A first impression is everything, and the start of the album makes me believe that the album will be somewhat fast-paced and keep a steady beat. "So tell your brothers and sisters to wait, 'cause love is nothing to waste, and I swore, never your heart, shall I break." This is a love story: a simple, loud, pulsating love song. It's like hard rock sound meets bubble gum pop lyrics.

2. "Artist and Repertoire"

This song isn't heavy to the point that you want to cover your ears; it is one of those "not too loud, not too soft" tracks that is fairly impressive. The guitars growl and are complimented by the outrageous drumming skill of Dan Gluszak. You can even hear the lyrics speak through the paced madness.

3. "The Gift Of Paralysis"

Though dexterous guitar parts dominate, the voice and cowbell reach out and pull the listener into a daze. "I'm bouncing in and out my body." That is what it feels like as the song progresses. There is even a beautiful piano part playing beneath the dominant instruments of the band.

4. "Tell Them That She's Not Scared"

To be honest, I wasn't a big fan of this. It sounded like a combination of U2 and Saosin, and the two wouldn't mix very well at all. The lyrics were very interesting, though. "I'll hold your tears as a ransom, within the palm of my hand."

5. "(X) Amount Of Truth"

This emo lullaby is solely vocals, but manages to capture attention fairly well.

6. "Vultures"

This song is aggressive. Instrumentals seem to focus on the perfection of contrast between the drums and the guitars. Despite the fact that it is very synonymous, this track is okay.

7. "Mirrors"

Fun. "Mirrors" makes me want to jump up and pound into someone. A delight to moshers everywhere. Guitars are dead on squealing, with the drums right there to back them up. Easily a top 20 hit in the Alternative music scene.

8. "If God Smokes Cheap Cigars"

In my biased opinion, there is so much overshadowing of the bass guitar that I can barely stand to listen at this point. The lyrics are what are keeping through this album. "'Cause we might as well be blind. If seeing is believing, this parable's misleading. You've got your shotgun loaded with excuses that you'll fire in vain."

9. "Starving Your Friends"

A piano ballad?! WHAT?! This completely hit by surprise, but I am impressed with how well it sounds. There is just a naked piano and a dynamic vocalist controlling the shots (at least for the most part of the song; the guitar kicks in towards the end). A nice change of pace from the initial harsh tone of the album.

10. "Lapse"

This song is vomiting depression and eating up any hope that I have for the future. The guitarists are using their instruments as crying impliments. For a song a to be able to do that is pretty astounding. I recommend not listening to when sad, or it may change your mood and cause you to take harmful actions against yourself. (Seriously, this song is full of suicidal thoughts and bad memories.)

11. "Because All Suffering Is Sweet To Me"

The drums return, but don't really shine as fast they did at the beginning of the album. As you get further into the song, you expect a lift-me-up at some point, but the song remains it's steady course and continues it's drab existence with lyrics like "from the noose you let them tie around your neck" and "medicines mean nothing if you can't feel your skin."

12. "I'm Breathing, Are You Breathing Too?"

The album ends in a maze of unclear haze. You feel lost, as though abandoned, by the band. The second half of the song has a woman singing a very interesting sound. An end that fails to end (but they probably planned it out that way...)

- Album Title: Lucy Gray
- Artist: Envy On The Coast
- Score (1 being horrible, 10 being the best thing your ears have ever heard!): I give it an 7 out of 10!
- Favorite Song(s): "Artist and Repertoire", "The Gift Of Paralysis" and "Mirrors"
-What did you like about it:
A very distinguishing feature of this band is the fact that Mr. Ryan Hunter slurs his words to match the heavy drums and loud guitars. You can't make out the lyrics too well, but with all of the instruments playing around his voice, you feel closer to the band and more enthused about the listening experience.  The lyrics are a major plus.
-What didn't you like about it: I wish that Ryan's voice could have been a little clearer, and the static sound could have been toned down just a little bit.
- Other Albums you would compare it to: Juturna - Circa Survive, Champion - The Audition, We're In Like Sin - Just Surrender

All in all, I would definitely reccomend their album to any one of my friends. It was very good.  =]

A Question That Had Me Stunned!

"Do you think that John Ortega is really happy in real life, like he makes himself seem on Buzznet?"

I don't remember where I read this question, but I would just like to give a direct answer to it.

The answer is YES!!  Why wouldn't I be happy all the time?!  I have only a few worries in the world, but each of them will work themselves out with time.  I, honestly, have no need to feel depressed or sad about my life.  As Mary J. Blige says, "I wouldn't change my life; my life's just fine!"  I've accepted that there will be times that I will get depressed, but it only happens once or twice a month, like it should for all of you ungrateful little bastards complaining that your perfect life is so damn hard.  I've counted my blessings time and time again, and two out of three is just fine with me.

I didn't mean to vent there for a second.  Whoops!  Got a wee bit carried away.  =]

Have I ever given anyone doubts as to if I can be happy all the time?  Is that not what life's goal is?  Eventual happiness?  I have decided to embrace mine early, and get with the positive program.  I see nothing wrong with smiling every second  and dancing around like an idiot in my living room with my music blasting the neighborhood.

If you ever doubt my happiness again, come see me any time.  I'll show you a typical day in my shoes, and you will know why the hell I am delighted to be alive.

To all of you sad sacks out there reading this:  GET HAPPY!  Unless you really enjoy a view of the world from the gutter.  In which case, good for you, more happy for me.  =]

The Colors Vary, But The Picture Is Clear - A Review Of Radiohead's album, In Rainbows

This is quite a bit late, but here is my take on Radiohead's latest album, In Rainbows. =]

Disc 1

1. "15 Step"

This song is very interestingly creative, with great use of keyboard skills and light vocals that make you feel as though you are drifting through time itself. If you are into just mellowing out for about 4 minutes, this first track will get you ready for the mood of the album.

2. "Bodysnatchers"

More mellow atmosphere in this one, but it seems as though the music isn't fully refined. This song sounds as though half is recorded live, half was worked on in the studio. It creates a very odd sound, but you go with the flow as Thom Yorke says, "I have no idea what I am talking about; I'm trapped in this body and can't get out."

3. "Nude"

The name of this song describes it all. All of the instrumentals seem to be playing the most basic of parts, breaking things down and giving us a reminder of where music came from. It makes us realize that music doesn't have to be hard-hitting and heavy; it can be as nude and as bare as possible.

4. "Weird Fishes/Arpeggi"

I felt like drifting away with this song. "Why should I stay here? Why should I stay?" It also reminded me of going fishing with my grandpa when I was younger, and I can't say that I've ever known any song to remind me of that memory. Soft, with a faint sense of nostalgia.

5. "All I Need"

A sad song for the ages; it's truly meant to bring your emotions out and face them dead on. Instruments are being played with great skill in this song and as the the melody progresses, you get cameos from a flute and a xylophone. Nicely done, just depressing.

6. "Faust Arp"

Being one of the more fast paced songs on the album, one really only feels the slur of relaxation. With violin playing in the background, every other instrument's performance has increased 10 fold. Very easily one of the best tracks off of the album.

7. "Reckoner"

Contrast changes the pace of the album. Steady, semi-hard drums continue through the song along with the vocals creating a hypnotic effect. "You are not to blame for, bittersweet distracter. Dare not speak it's name; dedicate it to all you, all you need." The title of the album comes into play in the lyrics, intertwining with the rest of the music.

8. "House Of Cards"

Jonny Greenwood, the lead guitarist, really shines in this, playing his guitar all the way through with such sweet sounds. "I don't want to be your friend, I just want to be your lover. No matter how it ends, No matter how it starts." Anyone care to join me in a group "aww..."?

9. "Jigsaw Falling Into Place"

This track, previously known as "Open Pick", was their lowest ranking chart entry since their song "Pop Is Dead" way back in 1993. This is my favorite of all of the songs on this album. It is the fastest song off of In Rainbows, but combines sadness with happiness and creates a new world of emotion. I think that I may use this song for references to an excellent track journal in the future...

10. "Videotape"

"No matter what happens now, I won't be afraid because I know today has been the most perfect day I've ever seen..."

But wait! The review isn't over at all!! On the contrary, I have gotten my hands on the second disc of the discbox set that Radiohead just sold. Here we go...

Disc 2 (Bonus Disc)

1. "MK 1"

Tantric feelings and messed up dreams are shoved into this pseudosonic compilation. Very intriguing to take a listen to.

2. "Down Is The New Up"

This song speaks the truth. Radiohead might as well have shoved the modern generation in a jar and shook it up. The result: a slew of piano notes creating one of the sadest harmonies that have been heard in ages. It's sad that a song like this reminds me of the present. The future will be better, of that I am sure.

3. "Go Slowly"

As slow as it sounds, it's really pretty damn powerful. It sounds just like a song from Ok Computer's "No Surprises." Melancholy and it seems like it's building up to something. Sadly, no climax.

4. "MK 2"

A medley, shrouded in mystery...

5. "Last Flowers"

Hamonica? "Last Flowers" is a true gem. No vocals at all; pure music all the way through.

6. "Up On The Ladder"

"Give me an answer! Give me a sign! I've been climbing up this ladder. I've been wasting my time." I'm not too big a fan of this song, to be honest. You win some, you lose some.

7. "Bangers + Mash"

This is a very fun and toe-tapping song. Rivaling each track of the album, this song takes charge of In Rainbows and stands out like a sore thumb. I found it very quiant with a reminiscence of Joy Division (I've been dying to make a Joy Division reference, and this song is the closest that I could think of).

8. "4 Minute Warning"

The saddest song. In my opinion, the worst of all, but we are all entitled to our own. =]

My final opinion: Radiohead's In Rainbows is a fairly great album, contrary to my previous thoughts. The instruments are very mellow, and each track seems to capture a piece of time in it's grasp. The title of this album was named quite appropriately. We're all getting stuck in each color as life progresses; you just have to be steady and soft. It must be taken one day at a time. Great message, great guys.

My Bleak Future

We all have a right to be down on ourselves sometime, right?

Well, here is my outlook on my future.  I hope to pieces things don't turn out like this, but if they do, I'll accept it.  There is some good in this, but some bad as well.  It happens.

Age: 17

Well, I am 17 right now, and I guess all that I am expecting this year of my life is just to keep all of my limbs and be sure that my mind is clear of any and all problems.  Things are easier when you can let the little things go.

Age:  18

I will have been enrolled in college a little more than a month when I turn 18.  I don't plan on letting loose or anything this year.  I just want to focus on the matter at hand: school.  If I can pull myself to the top of my class this year, I won't have anything to worry about for the remainder of my college days.  Things will just happen to pull together, and I'm sure that it'll all work out for the best.

Also, during this time, I hope to cut off many (if not all) of a vast majority of my connections in Colorado.  This place is a wasteland that I don't want pulling me back.

Age:  19

My sophomore year in college.  And only being 19?  I would say that that'll be very nice indeed.  For this, I just want to be able to socialize as much as possible.  Because sophomore year in high school was my favorite year of school, I'm sure that my sophomore year in college will be my most enjoyable.  And as lame as this sounds, I am going to be applying to the University of Chicago each year that I am in DePaul, just until I can get accepted and tell those bastards that they could have had me a long time ago.  Spiteful, yes, but I want justice to be had.  *shakes fist*

Age:  20

Three years of college and I probably won't have very many friends to show for it.  Though, I'm going to try my hardest to graduate one year early from DePaul so that I can get into medical school right away.  There is nothing better than telling yourself something can happen.  That's how I graduated high school early.  That is how I'll accomplish this feat.  It'll require so much extra work, but I can multitask.

Age:  21

By this time, I will have mastered the art of balancing Buzznet, homework, work, bills and social skills.  If I am in DePaul for this year, I will take it very easy, clear my head and get ready for my next 4 years of school.  If I am in medical school at this point in time, more power to me.  I'll become obsolete and probably a little anti-social for a while.  It happens.  Either way, I'll graduate DePaul, move onto career training, and hopefully, be able to make people's lives a little bit better.

Age:  22

I have told myself time and time again that I would indeed volunteer until I bled during this year.  It'll be hard, but it will be done.  I'm not sure why 22 is such a great volunteering age, it's just the age where I see myself as being able to do the most good for humanity.  Ooh, and I'll be getting through med school, one cadaver at a time.

Age:  23

I really want to be the top of my class in med school because you get the most benefits as far as jobs go when you graduate.  This will be the year were I work my ass off to try to get myself the most focused for the "out of school, into the world" transition.

As far as my romantic life goes, I plan on dating no one until this point.  Even then, I won't commit myself to anyone.  I have intimacy issues and I just might also start therapy this year.  Hmm...

Age:  24

To graduate medical school at age 24 would be an amazing accomplishment, but if I don't, I won't be completely dishearted.  I'll be sure to make the most of my studies.  There is no need to start the rest of my life and get into the worst rut in the world.  I want to be trained to the best of my abilities, and there will be pure concentration during this time.

Age:  25

This is the absolute latest year that I will allow myself to graduate medical school.  If I somehow fail, I'll pick a different career.  The only goal this year:  graduate, start internship at a great hospital in Chicago and pay student loans.

Age:  26

I will be either an intern or a resident at a hospital, and either way you look at it, I'll still have about $140,000 worth of student loans and debts that I will have to eventually face.  I'll pay them all off over the course of about 5 years being a doctor.  Woot woot!  I'll be making doctor cash while juggling people's lives.  Hurray?

Age:  27

I'm afraid to live alone, so hopefully, Maddy (EyelinerSmudge) will come and live with me.  That's it.  I just want to work steady, save money, pay loans and get some studio time.  I plan on making music in the future, but no one will like it too much, and it will all be underground stuff.  I don't want people to spend money for things that I come up with.  I'll probably just dish out tracks like carbon dioxide.  (Bad simile, but I'm not a writer.  =])

Age:  28

Maddy will probably have a life of her own by this time, and she'll have a romantic other and they'll get married and live happily ever after.  This entails me living in an apartment, facing my fears and going it alone.  But I won't really be alone.  I'll still have Buzznet.

Seriously, I want to stay in touch with all of you on here.  The bonds that I've created with many of you are just way too special to let die.

Age:  29

At sometime in my life, I would like to at least be considered for a record label.  I would love that if by this point, a record company told me that they'd love to sign me.  I'd turn it down and say that I really can't sell out to anything right now.  Music is like air, and one shouldn't have to pay for being able to breathe.  And yes, I still hope to be updating on Buzznet.

Age:  30

All of my loans will be paid and I would love it if I could go on vacation somewhere.  Perhaps, Indonesia or Australia.  By then, my twin will the queen bee of Australia, and we can set up a meeting to play water polo or something.  Hell, we could practically do anything, and it would make my life.  =]

Age:  31

Dead on arrival.  I'll have about a million messages on my answering machine, or whatever they come up with in the future, and someone will come to my apartment and find me face down on my living room floor with a bullet in the back of my head.  Almost all of my stuff will be gone, and it will be declared a robbery.

I'm not sure if I will really go this way, but I can bet that the 'John Ortega' line will end with me.  Unless of course, I do end up meeting Amy Winehouse, and she does accept half of my liver for her hand in marriage.

Anywho, for those of you that think that you will be alone forever, stop with that nonsense.  There is someone for everyone.  If you ever need reassurance of that, look in the mirror.

Much love.  Hearts to all!

I'm getting ready to leave my house with my little brother to go see "Cloverfield".

I am sorry that I haven't been on.  The computer repair shop recently moved, but they managed to take my computer in today.  I will be fully functional by Monday, I promise.

I miss you, my twin.  Kerri, you are such a doll.  Kassady ROCKS!  Sue makes me happy!!  Millie is one of the best!

Thanks for being the best.  I'm out for now.

Believe It Or Not

My computer was broken the other day.  I took it in, they fixed it.  Two days later, broken again.

*sigh*

I swear, my computer fixers are totally doing this on purpose.  I'm taking it in today to get fixed once again.  That means that I will be on Buzznet at very random and sporatic times over the next couple of days.  I'm sorry if I miss any of your posts.  Chances are that won't happen though.  Pretty much any of the people reading this are already under my favorites list.

Turns out, I have about 30 people selected as favorites and within the course of 2 days, you have managed to make 1000+ posts.  Thank you.  You give me reason to explore this beautiful website.

I love each and every one of you.  Have a damn good weekend, and be sure to eat tons of fruit.  Fruit is a natural body curver, so ladies if you want those deadly Shakira hips, you'd better get to eating some tangerines.  I'll be working on the same (because my hips don't lie, blah blah blah blah blah blah blah...)  =D

Much love.

P.S. - My twin rules.

A Song Inspired By Hitmen

Here is part of a song that I am writing.  I don't know how good it sounds yet, but I have a really good jazzy beat for it right now.  Let me know what you think, if you have the time.

Mafia, have I ever told you I can’t thank you enough for making me bright yellow?

Happiness couldn't be this jolly; it wouldn't have a chance, no it couldn't even glance my way.

I’ll hit you up with a visit downtown, have a chat about a pal and their shutdown.

Live it up or get lost somewhere, my dear friends in the mob will make sure that you're gone.

Long gone.

Are you sure that you’ll take my enemies down?

Are you sure that you can make them drown?

Are you sure that you'll take my enemies down?

Are you sure that you can make them drown?

Flirting with the fishes never sounded so delicious;

They never had a chance of living in this business.

You can't catch a break with a forked tongue,

lying just shoots that loaded gun your way.

Remember, it isn't finished, nor have I chosen a chorus, but I don't think it's that bad.  I came up with the thought watching a big murderer biography marathon.  (Hee hee, April.  =] )

Bises.
